Job summary

USPI Pearland Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Pre-Op/PACU RN to join our team. We operate 2 main OR rooms and 2 endoscopy rooms, performing outpatient procedures across multiple specialties.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday with one Saturday per month; some early mornings and evenings may be required. The RN will plan, direct, organize and implement nursing care for pre-op and post-surgical patients, monitor vitals, and manage post-anesthesia pain and nausea.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Nursing License is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU, ambulatory surgery setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Familiar with aseptic technique and care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize and coordinate nursing care for pre-op and post-surgical patients.
• Monitor vital signs, manage pain and nausea, and ensure patient safety per care plan.
