Job summary
Surgery Partners, Inc. seeks a Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory surgery setting. You will ensure patient readiness, coordinate pre-operative requirements, and support safe, efficient care throughout the pre-surgical process.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license, and AHA BLS/ACLS certifications. Reports to Administrator; collaborative, patient-focused perioperative care is essential.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN License in good standing.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required or current.
- Experience in perioperative or ambulatory settings preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for pre-operative patients in an ambulatory setting.
- Prepare patients for surgery and coordinate pre-operative requirements.
- Administer medications per physician orders and monitor patients.
- Communicate with physicians, OR staff, and patients to ensure safety and efficiency.
