Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance seeks a dynamic Pharmacy Technician to join the Ambulatory Pharmacy Departments across Cambridge/Malden/Medford/Revere. The role supports patient care with EPIC EMR, Parata/RapidPak dispensing, and collaborative interprofessional work in a state-of-the-art environment.

Responsibilities include registering patients, entering prescriptions, assisting with dispensing and counseling, and handling calls from patients and health care providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MA Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Current MA registration or eligibility; register before 1000 hours of work.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and enters prescription orders in the system.
• Assists patients dropping off prescriptions; sets pick-up expectations.
• Assists Ambulatory Pharmacists with filling prescriptions, compounding non-sterile products, dispensing and counseling.
• Handles calls from patients and providers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
