Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician to support a centralized prior authorization clinic in West Michigan. The role involves resolving and appealing prior authorization claims for Trinity Health Medical Group.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma, licensed LPhT in Michigan and national CPhT certification, plus at least one year of pharmacy experience. Day shift, full-time position in a hospital-affiliated setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum High school education or equivalent.
• Preferred completion of formal pharmacy technician training program.
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan (LPhT) AND nationally certified as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Minimum One year of pharmacy work experience. Prefer experience in multiple healthcare settings.
• Prefer previous experience working within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support a centralized prior authorization clinic in West Michigan, MI.
• Pharmacy technician support involves resolving and appealing prior authorization claims from Trinity Health Medical Group.
• The technician may also support other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.
