Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician to join the Trinity Health network in West Michigan, supporting a centralized Prior Authorization Clinic.

This full-time day-shift position offers exposure to multidisciplinary teams and opportunities to assist with medication access for patients across Trinity Health Medical Group practices in Grand Rapids and Lakeshore.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan (LPhT) and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or eligible to obtain national certification within six months of hire with prior pharmacy technician experience.
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy work experience required; experience in multiple healthcare settings preferred.
• Previous experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a centralized Prior Authorization Clinic serving Trinity Health Medical Group practices throughout West Michigan.
• Resolve and appeal prior authorization requests and support medication access for patients.
• Provide support to other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.
