Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus in Cleveland offers a Pharmacy Technician - Community, Compounding role within the Ambulatory Pharmacy. The team processes high-volume outpatient prescriptions and supports non-sterile compounding per USP <795> guidelines.

The position requires current CPhT credentials and OBOP registration with a 6-month upgrade window to the CPhT, and includes a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. The schedule spans 6:30am–6:30pm, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CPhT certification through PTCB or NHA required upon hire.
• Active OBOP registration as CPhT/Registered/PTT required upon hire and updated to CPhT within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide distributive pharmacy services and support for the pharmacist in ambulatory/outpatient setting.
• Prepare prescription orders for dispensing to patients.
• Maintain inventory for the outpatient pharmacy.
• Assist with extemporaneous and bulk compounding of prescriptions.
• Operate the point-of-sale cash register system.
• Monitor reorder points and restock prescription and non-prescription items.
• Provide multi-pharmacy support in assigned areas as needed.
