Job summary

The Administrative Director for Outpatient Pharmacy Services at University Medical Center of El Paso leads the operations of all outpatient/ambulatory pharmacy services, including retail, specialty, free-standing ED, and ambulatory clinic pharmacies. The role develops strategy, oversees analytics, procurement, and new ambulatory programs aligned with the Hospital Strategic Plan.

Requirements include five years of progressive management experience, Texas Pharmacist license, and a PharmD degree;

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Current Texas Pharmacy License.
• BCPS or equivalent certification preferred; BLS/ACLS required.
• Five years of progressive management experience in a large health system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs outpatient/ambulatory pharmacy operations across multiple service lines including retail, specialty and clinic pharmacies.
• Plans, organizes, and directs operations to align with the Hospital Strategic Plan.
• Develops strategy for ambulatory programs and policies and oversees business development and analytics.
