Cencora is seeking a Concierge Pharmacy Technician to join the ambulatory hospital pharmacy team at Reading Hospital. The role supports discharge medication processing, patient outreach, and coordination with hospital units to ensure timely access to medications.

We value strong communication, problem-solving, and retail/pharmacy experience. The position is full-time, on-site in Reading, PA, with rotating shifts and a patient-centric approach to medication access.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Trainee or PA Technician license required.
• At least 1 year of experience in community-based or hospital outpatient pharmacy.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience with PBM billing and prior authorization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with internal team members to gather paperwork and prescriptions.
• Answers inbound calls and triages to appropriate staff.
• Creates patient profiles in the pharmacy information system.
• Enters prescription plan information for processing and adjudication.
• Supports concierge services from intake to bedside delivery at discharge.
• Adheres to regulatory and organizational policies.
• Participates in program marketing and patient assistance initiatives.
• Serves as Ambulatory Pharmacy resource to resolve discharge medication issues.
• Prepares inventory reports for pharmacist review and ordering.
• Manages inventory stock and replenishment.
• Provides patient follow-up for ongoing medication access.
