Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician Specialist to collaborate with ambulatory care pharmacists and clinic teams. You will assist with patient outreach, medication access coordination, and pre- and post-visit management to support program operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of related work experience in pharmacy, ambulatory clinic operations, medication access, population health, managed care, or specialty pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician Registration or Licensure in good standing with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Must have or obtain PTCB Medication History certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ambulatory care pharmacists, clinic teams, providers, specialty pharmacies, payers, and stakeholders to support pharmacy-led patient care and care coordination.
• Review patient lists, registries, and dashboards to identify patients eligible for outreach or adherence support.
• Direct patient outreach by phone, MyChart, and other channels to support enrollment and scheduling.
• Assist with medication management workflows, including gathering medication histories and MTM preparation.
• Support medication access navigation by collecting insurance information and aiding with patient assistance documentation.
• Answer and triage patient or clinic inquiries related to ambulatory pharmacy services and scheduling.
• Maintain program trackers, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor outreach and goals.
