Job summary

Robert B Green Campus in Texas seeks a licensed pharmacist to deliver ambulatory care, collaborate with physicians and leadership, and educate patients and staff. The role includes serving as a key preceptor for pharmacy students and residents and applying formulary decisions in daily practice.

The position requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Texas licensure, and PGY1 residency or equivalent experience, with ambulatory care PGY2 preferred and board certification desirable.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
• Completion of an ASHP PGY1 residency or 3 years of applicable experience required.
• PGY2 residency in ambulatory care preferred.
• Must be licensed to practice in Texas.
• Board certification in Pharmacotherapy or Ambulatory Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with pharmacy leadership, physicians and interdisciplinary team to deliver pharmaceutical care in ambulatory settings.
• Functions as a primary preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
• Performs D.U.E. and patient/physician education activities as necessary.
• Implements decisions of the P&T Committee as written in the Hospital Formulary.
