Job summary

Responsibilities

Apply pharmacotherapeutic and pharmacokinetic principles to ensure safe use of medications.
Review orders for therapeutic appropriateness and intervene with prescribers.
Educate patients on medications and ensure access.
Precept and train pharmacy staff and students.
Participate in QA, safety programs, and quality improvement.
Oversee and review work of technicians and interns.
Immunizations per RI rules where applicable.
