Job summary

Regent Surgical Health seeks a dedicated Ambulatory RN to deliver perioperative and intraoperative patient care in our Alaska ASC. You will assess physical, psychosocial, and pain needs, prepare for surgery, and monitor patients through to discharge, ensuring safety and quality care.

The full-time role requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required by ASC policy, and prior nursing or ASC experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• RN license in appropriate State
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (as required by individual ASC policy)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative care in procedure rooms and operating rooms.
• Evaluate patients’ physical and mental health, gather medical history, and prepare them for surgery.
• Explain the surgical procedure and expectations to patient and family.
• Verify informed consent and maintain sterile technique to prevent complications.
• Conduct venipuncture and blood draws as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and assist anesthesia team during procedures.

Education
