Job summary

Regent Surgical Health is seeking a PreOp/PACU RN to provide comprehensive perioperative care. You will assess patients before and after surgery, monitor vitals, and communicate with the surgical team to promote safe, high-quality care.

This per diem role offers Monday through Friday shifts with no calls, weekends, or holidays, focusing on safe patient preparation, monitoring, and discharge planning within the ASC setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the appropriate state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients before and after surgery, assess surgical site and airway, and administer pre-operative meds and IV fluids as needed.
• Explain procedures and expectations to patient and family clearly and compassionately.
• Ensure surgical site prep, obtain informed consent, and follow safety protocols.
