Job summary

The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Assistant Patient Care Manager to supervise daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting. You will oversee clinical care by assigned nurses and align activity with department and organizational goals.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Nursing (or an Associate’s with BSN in process); RN and BLS; minimum three years of nursing experience with leadership; Master’s in Nursing preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's with BSN in process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; leadership experience preferred; Oncology experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes.

Skills/Training Required: Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes.

Salary Range $98,342.40 - $150,030.40. Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
