The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Assistant Patient Care Manager to supervise daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting. Summary The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.
Job Title: Assistant Patient Care Manager
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other related field of study. Alternatively, Associate's degree with BSN in process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Nursing
Required Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS)
Required Experience: Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting. Demonstrated leadership experience preferred. Oncology experience preferred.
Skills/Training Required: Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes.
Salary Range $98,342.40 - $150,030.40. Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
