Job summary

The Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) on Gonda 7 at Mayo Clinic is accountable for the delivery of direct patient care in the outpatient setting, including perioperative care in the operating room as a circulating RN and coordination of perianesthesia care in the pre-post area. The RN plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, teaches patients and families, and orients colleagues and peers.

Current RN license and BLS are required; the role may require flexible hours and potential TN

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills and experience with electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient setting.
• Deliver perioperative and perianesthesia care as required.
