Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) for the Gonda 7 Outpatient Procedure Center. The RN will deliver direct patient care, coordinate perioperative and perianesthesia services, and educate patients and families in an outpatient setting.

The role requires a nursing program graduate, RN licensure in the applicable state, and BLS certification. Cross-coverage and leadership activities are expected, with potential TN sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program and eligible for RN licensure.
• One year of professional RN experience is required.
• BLS/CPR certification required; states may vary on licensure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in ambulatory/outpatient settings.
• Provide perioperative care in the operating room as circulating RN.
• Coordinate and deliver perianesthesia care in pre/post areas and provide moderate sedation.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; educate patients and families.
• Lead and mentor peers; participate on committees or projects.
