Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an Ambulatory Care RN on Gonda 7 to deliver direct patient care in outpatient perioperative settings. The RN will function as a circulating nurse in the operating room and coordinate perianesthesia care, providing moderate sedation under supervision.

The nurse plans, implements, and evaluates care, teaches patients and families, and orients peers. A strong foundation in nursing practice and teamwork is essential, with options for TN sponsorship and ongoing

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program as recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience is required.
• Documentation of BSN within five years from RN start date for certain cohorts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in outpatient perioperative settings.
• Circulating RN in the operating room and coordinating perianesthesia care.
• Provide moderate sedation under direction of anesthesia/proceduralist.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care; educate patients and families; orient colleagues.
