Job summary

Northwell Health in the New York area seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to plan and coordinate age-appropriate patient care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, documenting plans, coordinating discharge, supervising staff, and applying clinical judgment in treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; BSN in progress acceptable.
• Current NYS RN license required; certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs age-specific plan of care using nursing process.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team members in care.
• Leads and directs activities of the patient care unit team.
