Job summary

Regent Surgical Health in Wisconsin is seeking a perioperative RN to deliver safe, high-quality care before, during, and after surgery in the perioperative and intraoperative areas. You will assess patients, monitor vitals, prepare for surgery, and communicate with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes and patient safety.

This is a full-time position; No calls; No weekends; No nights! You will maintain care plans, ensure sterile technique, and support postoperative recovery and discharge

Qualifications

• RN license in the appropriate state
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (as required by ASC policy)
• Preferred: BSN or higher and ASC experience

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative care in procedure rooms and operating rooms.
• Evaluate patients' physical and mental health, gather medical history, prepare them for surgery and assess surgical site/airway.
• Explain the procedure and post-operative expectations to patient and family.
• Ensure sterile technique and prepare the surgical site and equipment.
• Monitor vital signs during anesthesia recovery and discharge planning.
• Communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
• Assist in maintaining supplies, equipment, and documentation for quality care.
