Job summary

Garden State Surgical Center is seeking full-time and per diem Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our ambulatory surgery center team. You will contribute to patient safety and a positive surgical experience from admission through discharge, with cases including spine, total joint, and hip arthroscopy among others.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or ability to obtain within established timeframe.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Previous Pre- Op, PACU, critical care, emergency department, or ambulatory surgery experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in an ambulatory surgery center setting.
• Knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
