Brandon Surgery Center in Brandon, FL seeks an Operating Room Nurse to join a dedicated team providing safe, expert care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You’ll work as circulator or scrub, ensuring instrument readiness and smooth transitions between procedures.

We offer mentorship, professional development, and a comprehensive benefits package. Eligible candidates hold RN licensure and meet BCLS/ACLS requirements; CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience, ambulatory center preferred.
• Active RN license as required by state.
• BCLS Certification upon employment (online not acceptable).
• ACLS as required by facility.
• PALS preferred or may be required at some facilities; CNOR preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for the OR and anticipate surgeon needs.
• Coordinate and oversee the room as circulator during a case.
• Facilitate efficient transition between procedures.
• Use proper body mechanics when moving patients to stretchers and tables.
• Manage patient care and medications, including anesthesia assistance.
• Review charts for completeness per documentation protocols.
