Brandon Surgery Center in Brandon, FL, is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to assist in the operating room under RN supervision. You will scrub for procedures, maintain sterile technique, prepare the OR, and support room turnover to ensure safe patient care.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, surgical tech certification, at least one year of OR experience (ambulatory surgery center preferred), and valid BCLS certification at employment.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program as required by facility practice.
• Surgical Tech Certification.
• One year OR experience, preferably in ambulatory surgery center.
• Valid BCLS certification required at employment.

Mansioni

• Demonstrate practical, technical, or specialized skills for the surgical technician role.
• Prepare the operative suite by gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist in sterile field and instrument handling.
• Support turnover of operating rooms and assist with cleanup and equipment turnover.
• Prepare procedure rooms for the next day and report shortages to the supervisor.
