Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to direct clinical operations and patient care across multiple ambulatory care areas. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of four years of recent nursing clinical experience including at least one year in healthcare management

Responsibilities

• Supervises nurse managers, assistant nurse managers, educators, clinical specialists, and others across multiple Cleveland Clinic AtWork ambulatory care locations.
• Develops, implements and oversees policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, evidence-based care.
• Collaborates with APRN/PA Director and Senior Clinical Director, Occupational Health on budget review, staffing, and productivity, and staff development.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting delivery of care and initiates quality improvement actions.
• Monitors staffing patterns, workflow and productivity to meet operational and quality metrics; ensures care is delivered to the top of license.
