Job summary

Jefferson Health Ambulatory Nursing is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our ambulatory care team. You will deliver a full spectrum of nursing interventions, coordinate patient care, and educate patients and families across multiple clinics.

Ideal candidates hold a specialized nursing diploma and PA nursing license, with strong communication skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• RN license in Pennsylvania required.
• Knowledge of patient-centered care principles and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to educate patients and families on care plans and medications.

Responsibilities

• Integrates evidence-based practice and clinical expertise with patient and family preferences for optimal care.
• Collaborates with clinic providers and staff to coordinate patient care.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and clinical pathways.
• Performs nursing interventions during visits, calls, and messages.
• Documents all patient interactions in the EMR per standards.
