Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Clinical Nurse Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight in ambulatory care settings. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
RN licensure and current BLS are required.
3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience supervising in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee operational systems and clinical practice, processes, and infrastructure while identifying improvement opportunities.
Contribute as a key management member; understand business, financials, industry, customers, and strategy.
Supervise staff, provide direction, coaching, training and performance management toward goals.
Prepare, manage, and adhere to the department budget to control expenditures.
Coordinate in collaboration with department Managers and Directors.
Lead business practice operations, personnel supervision and quality improvement initiatives.
Assist Director/Manager with projects.
Perform other duties as required.
