Job summary

Patient First is seeking a licensed practical or registered nurse to provide ambulatory care across patient visits in Virginia. You will administer medications, screen patients, and support physicians in emergencies while delivering friendly, high-quality care to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Keyboarding experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Patient First's policies and procedures.
• Offering quality nursing care and generating a warmly welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.
• Providing nursing care in ambulatory settings to individuals and families.
• Using sound judgment when administering medical care and screening patients.
• Administering medications and knowing correct dosages, actions, and side effects.
• Assisting the physician in all emergency cases.
• Providing positive, warm customer service in all interactions.
• Fostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere.
• Completing other duties as directed.
