Job summary

Patient First is seeking a licensed nurse to provide ambulatory care with a focus on quality nursing, patient comfort, and safety. You will administer medications, assist physicians in emergencies, and support a welcoming environment for patients and staff.

The role emphasizes accurate medication administration, strong communication, and teamwork within a fast-paced clinic setting in Virginia. Licensing across VA/MD/PA/NJ is required or obtainable for the position.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a nurse in one or more of VA, MD, PA, NJ.
• Minimum 18 years old and high school diploma or equivalent.
• Keyboarding experience required; strong written and verbal communication.
• One year of clerical experience preferred; one year of clinical med administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Patient First's policies and procedures.
• Provide quality nursing care in ambulatory setting to individuals and families.
• Administer medications with knowledge of dosages, actions and side effects.
• Use sound judgment when administering medical care and screening patients.
• Assist the physician in emergency cases.
• Provide warm, friendly customer service and foster teamwork.
• Complete other duties as directed.
