Job summary

Patient First is seeking an experienced nurse to provide ambulatory care, administer medications, and support physicians in emergencies. The role emphasizes safe, compassionate patient interactions and adherence to clinic policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Keyboarding experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Patient First's policies and procedures.
• Providing nursing care in the ambulatory setting to patients and families.
• Administering medications with knowledge of dosages, actions, and side effects.
• Assisting the physician in all emergency cases.
• Offering warm, friendly customer service in all interactions.
• Fostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere.
• Completing other duties as directed.
