Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Keyboarding experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Implement Patient First’s policies and procedures.
• Offer quality nursing care and create a warm, friendly atmosphere for patients and staff.
• Provide nursing care in ambulatory settings to individuals and families.
• Use sound judgement when administering medical care and screening patients.
• Administer medications and know correct dosage, actions, and side effects.
• Assist the physician in all emergency cases.
• Provide positive customer service in all interactions.
• Foster teamwork and a professional atmosphere.
• Complete other duties as directed.
