Job summary

UHA University Health Associates in Greensburg, PA is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional to manage outpatient neurology patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. The APP coordinates medical specialty involvement, performs diagnostic assessments, and contributes to education of residents and students.

The role requires CNS/PA/NP credentials, applicable state licensure, and BLS with ACLS as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as RN and APRN in WV.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required with additional ACLS training at department discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for neurology patients in ambulatory settings.
• Performs acute assessments and follow-ups in the ambulatory neurology setting.
• Collaborates with neurology faculty and other clinical staff to develop care plans.
• Orders tests or consults as needed within scope of practice and guidelines.
• Documents plan of care and communicates results and recommendations to patient and team.
