Job summary

UHA University Health Associates is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) in neurology to deliver patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team. The APP will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage neurology patients across inpatient and ambulatory settings, coordinating with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians.

The role requires NP/PA credentials, WV licensure eligibility, and national APRN certification, along with BLS and ACLS as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with master's degree in nursing.
• National APRN certification through a recognized certifying center.
• Licensure or eligibility for RN and APRN in West Virginia.
• BLS certification required with possible additional ACLS training at department discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurology patient care across inpatient, post-discharge, and ambulatory settings.
• Perform rounds, pre-procedure evaluations, and diagnostic orders.
• Coordinate with neurology faculty to develop and implement care plans.
