Job summary

PALMETTO PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS L.L.C. is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner (NP or PA) to join our neurology-focused healthcare team. The APP will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians, and support delivery of comprehensive neurological services.

The role emphasizes comprehensive assessment, diagnostic testing, medication management, and care coordination across multidisciplinary teams in an outpatient neurology clinic.

Qualifications

• PA or NP required with current state license and national certification.
• Clinical neurology experience preferred; neurology rotations or fellowship treated as valuable.
• Strong documentation and coding knowledge; proficient with EHR and prescriptions.
• Ability to educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and perform neurological and general examinations.
• Evaluate referrals and follow-up patients; formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions per guidelines.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including MRI/CT, EEG, EMG/NCS, LP results.
• Prescribe and manage medications; monitor efficacy and interactions.
