Job summary

The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center seeks a fellowship-trained Neurologist for a part-time outpatient role in a dynamic urban setting.

You will deliver evidence-based neurology care to adults referred from our primary care network, within a multidisciplinary team, and schedule off-site procedures as needed. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Spanish is a plus, with translation services available.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State.
• Certification or eligible for certification in Neurology by the American Board of Neurology.
• One to two years of experience in practicing neurology preferred.
• Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Flexible schedule, including opportunity to work on weekends only.
• Responsible for neurology care for adult patients referred from the Health Center's primary care sites.
• Provide quality care to patients.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary providers to ensure that patients receive the best in neurology.
• Ambulatory, office-based care only. Procedures will need to be scheduled at off-site locations where provider is credentialed.
• Participate in all activities for the multidisciplinary team-based approach for the care of adult patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
