Charles B. Wang Community Health Center is seeking a fellowship-trained cardiology professional for a part-time, outpatient role in Flushing, NY.

You will provide quality cardiology care to adult patients referred from primary care sites and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. The ideal candidate is board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine with subspecialty cardiology training, licensed in NY, and willing to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State.
• Certification or eligible for certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Certification/Fellowship trained in subspeciality of Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Cardiology.
• One to two years of experience in practicing cardiology medicine preferred.
• Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Flexible schedule, including opportunity to work on weekends only
• Responsible for Cardiology care for adult patients referred from the Health Center's primary care sites
• Provide quality care to patients
• Work closely with multidisciplinary providers to ensure that patients receive the best in cardiology care
• Ambulatory, office-based care only. Procedures will need to be scheduled at off-site locations where provider is credentialed
• Participate in all activities for the multidisciplinary team-based approach for the care of adult patients
• Perform other duties as assigned
