Job summary

Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, Inc. in Flushing, NY is seeking a fellowship-trained neurology professional for part-time outpatient care.

You will deliver evidence-based specialty neurology care as part of a multidisciplinary team in an urban ambulatory setting. The role allows flexible scheduling, including weekends, with translation services available for patients speaking Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Spanish.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State.
• Certification or eligible for certification in Neurology by the American Board of Neurology.
• One to two years of experience in practicing neurology preferred.
• Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Spanish is a plus (translation services available).

Responsibilities

• Flexible schedule, including opportunity to work on weekends only.
• Responsible for neurology care for adult patients referred from the Health Center's primary care sites.
• Provide quality care to patients.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary providers to ensure patients receive the best in neurology.
• Ambulatory, office-based care only; procedures scheduled at off-site locations where credentialed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team-based care for adults.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
