Job summary

Montefiore Health System in New York is seeking an experienced physician leader to manage physicians at the home location, chair monthly meetings, monitor quality, and drive implementation of clinical workflows that impact physician work. You will present operational and quality reports to physician staff and oversee performance guidelines while supporting physician education and scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an attending physician with proven leadership and/or management skills in an ambulatory care setting.
• Experience guiding clinical workflows, quality improvement, and provider performance.
• Proven ability to recruit and mentor physicians; manage schedules and coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage physicians at home location by chairing monthly meetings and monitoring quality and appropriateness of care.
• Present operational and quality reports regularly to physician staff.
• Coordinate physician schedules with site administrator support and approve vacations/time off.
• Oversee practice operations: develop and review operating budget and monitor visit volume, access and patient experience metrics.
• Interview physicians for recruitment and hiring and participate in MMG leadership and quality initiatives.
