Qualifications

• A Medical Assisting Diploma, Degree, or Certificate is required.
• Medical Assistant credentialing within 120 calendar days of hire is required.
• American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records is preferred.
• Ambulatory Care medical assisting or nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant assists in implementing healthcare services and provides individualized, direct patient care under the supervision of a physician.
• Maintains a positive work relationship with the healthcare team and supports other staff to deliver quality care.
