UC San Diego Medical Center seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for an ambulatory clinic in California. Under supervision, you will support clinic providers and nursing staff, handle scheduling, billing, and environmental care tasks. You should have MA training and be capable of fast-paced multi-specialty operations.

Preferred candidates have EPIC and Cadence experience, and a commitment to high standards and teamwork; employment includes mandatory background checks and pre-employment physical.

Formación

• Certified Medical Assistant or MA training certificate required.
• BART or BLS at hire with commitment to obtain within six months.
• Minimum two years of experience as an MA in an ambulatory medical practice.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, online scheduling, universal precautions, and body mechanics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-specialty clinic with empathy.
• Strong computer literacy and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule patient appointments and manage scheduling screens.
• Accurate billing and patient system management.
• Environmental care functions, equipment and supply management.
• Clean and disinfect the environment and assist clinic staff.
• Assist clinic providers and licensed nursing staff; monitor patient flow.
