Job summary

Advocate Health in Rome, GA seeks a Medical Assistant for a part-time role supporting the Oncology: Medical department. The position runs about 24 hours per week with a standard 8A-5P schedule, Monday through Friday, and involves rooming patients, taking vitals, and assisting with procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow policies and maintain competency in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and taking vital signs, history, and screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures and administer medications/vaccines.
• Perform venipuncture and collect lab specimens per CLIA-waived testing.
• Coordinate scheduling, referrals, and patient communications.
