Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and patients across ambulatory care settings. The role involves vital signs, patient histories, exams prep, medications administration, phlebotomy, and EHR documentation.

The position requires a MA diploma or equivalent experience; travel between Bolingbrook and Westmont locations is expected. This is a full-time role with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
