Advocate Health Care's Aurora Medical Group Bolingbrook Internal Medicine site is seeking a Medical Assistant to support care teams and ensure a compassionate patient experience. The role emphasizes clinical and administrative tasks, adherence to safety guidelines, and strong professionalism.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a MA diploma or 2 years MA experience (or certified MA with 2 years experience), and preferred phlebotomy skills.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or be a certified MA with 2 years MA experience.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.

Mansioni

• Greet and welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver coordinated care.
