Aurora Medical Group (AMG), part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks across sites in Aurora, Naperville, and Downers Grove. The role requires a MA diploma or 2 years’ MA experience, with preferred phlebotomy skills.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday/Tuesday and 1pm-5pm on Thursday weeks 2 and 4 and 8am-5pm on Monday/Wednesday and 1pm-5pm on Thursday weeks 1, 3, and 5. Hours may change slightly to accommodate office needs.
• As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.
• As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:
• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
