Aurora Medical Group, part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and the care team in an ambulatory setting in Park Ridge, IL. This role involves patient contact, vital signs, and assisting with exams and procedures.

The Medical Assistant will also handle specimen collection, documentation in the EHR, and vaccination administration as directed, contributing to a compassionate, efficient patient experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Mansioni

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
