Job summary

Aurora Medical Group, part of Advocate Health Care, is hiring a Medical Assistant to support the care team with clinical and administrative tasks. You will welcome patients, record vital signs, prepare for exams, assist during procedures, administer vaccines as directed, and document care in the electronic health record, all while maintaining confidentiality and compassion.

The role rotates between Oswego and Naperville locations with a Monday–Friday schedule and some Saturday rotation;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or MA certification with 2 years experience.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
