Job summary

Aurora Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant at Mount Prospect, IL. This full-time role supports providers, takes vitals, assists with exams, administers vaccines, and performs routine lab tasks while coordinating care within a busy ambulatory setting.

Expect Monday–Friday shifts 7a–6p with one Saturday monthly (9a–1p); 1–2 primary sites; 40 hours/week; benefits eligible. High school diploma or MA diploma required; phlebotomy skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or be a certified MA with 2 years MA experience.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday–Fridays 8 hour shift between 7a–6p with one Saturday per month 9a–1p; may be scheduled at any of AMG's sites with 1–2 primary sites.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings; prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed; perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing; document care in the EHR.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
