The University of Virginia in Culpeper, VA seeks a Medical Assistant - Ambulatory to support multiple clinics, splitting time between the Specialty Same-Day Care Clinic and the Clinical Float Team. There may be remote work options to assist operations as needed.

You will handle patient intake, vital signs, specimen collection, and help licensed clinicians with examinations and procedures. Training is provided; AHA BLS and MA certification within 6 months are required; high school diploma is

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AA/MA certification from recognized national bodies required within 6 months of hire.
• Certification in CPR/BLS is required.

• Assist with clinical intake, data collection, and documentation.
• Provide clinical support during examinations and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection.
• Prepare laboratory specimens and ensure room/kit readiness.
• Support administrative tasks and scheduling as needed.
