Qualifications

• Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience or current active and in-good-standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of the Clinician and assist the provider to gather information pertinent to the patient’s visit.
• Communicate clearly with patients seeking care through telephone and in-person interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate patient care and ensure follow-through.
