Job summary

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification must be obtained prior to start date.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or one year MA experience, or current RN/LPN license.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver quality care.
• Protection of privacy and PHI of patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Under clinician direction, assist provider to gather information relative to patient visit and condition.
• Communicate clearly with patients through telephone and in-person interactions.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support patient care and follow-up.
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic Medical Assisting skills in ambulatory setting.
