Job summary

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences in the Houston area is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a temporary ambulatory care assignment. You will provide clinical and administrative support to physicians and nursing staff, focusing on patient safety, comfort, and quality care.

The role requires active BLS, a qualifying CMA or CNA credential, and travel between clinic locations about 2–3 days per week. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–5:00 PM, for a 3–6 month contract.

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required.
• Qualifying CMA or CNA credential required.
• Basic knowledge of medical and nursing terminology.
• Proficient in EMR documentation and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and supportive patient care under physicians and RNs.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
• Perform delegated clinical tasks such as patient preparation and rooming.
• Assist with patient education and discharge instructions.
