Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is seeking qualified Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses to join a 40-hour float pool across Hartford, Slinger, West Bend South, and West Bend North clinics in Wisconsin. The positions require BLS within 45 days, and may involve travel to cover traveling specialists.

Actual compensation offered will be within the pay ranges listed for MA ($21.85–$32.80) or LPN ($24.10–$36.15), based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA) required within 45 days.
• GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
• MA: Completion of an accredited program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time MA experience.
• LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse with state license and advanced training in Practical Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality care.
